In 2007, Deborah Short joined our affiliate, Dr, Howard Elkin, M.D. F.A.C.C., of the Santa Barbara Medical Group. Dr. Elkin is the founder of The Heartwise Fitness and Longevity Center and oversees the medical skin treatments offered at Skin Essentials.

Deborah shares 25 years experience as a registered nurse together with hospital and outpatient surgical settings expertise in the fields of Plastic and Cosmetic Surgery, including Botox and Dermal Fillers, Neurosurgery, and Pain Management.

Deborah is highly skilled in cosmetic injectables and enjoys providing treatments designed to keep skin radiant and healthy.

Deborah loves spending time with her family and enjoying the beauty of the countryside.

 

Ann Eccles (Gisler), Esthetician

Ann Eccles (Gisler) is a licensed Esthetician who has practiced at Skin Essentials in Montecito for 2005. She is certified in Permanent Cosmetics, trained in Microdermabrasion, and a variety of makeup applications. Her expertise includes facials, chemical peels, waxing, permanent makeup, and client product education.

Ann feels that no one skin care solution is right for everyone -- that we are all unique. That's why she believes in, and is passionate about, achieving holistic results through listening, care with integrity, and an ever evolving approach to personal enhancement and skin treatments.

Ann is a devoted mother of two and enjoys volunteering at the American Cancer Society, educating women on skin care changes that occur during intense cancer treatments.
